CHARITIES
Dimitra has supported Unicef for many years in the past. Causes close to heart include; ‘unite for children’ [a cause which globally supports children] and has been since 2008.
Just a few facts;
Helping, helps install (five) water points in the village of Buburnaru, Alieu District and Timor Leste. Before this work was done, women and children walked 2km to collect water.
Helping, helps child soldiers from the Central African Republic return to school.
Helping, helps provide critical nutrition to tens of thousands of children affected by draught and malnutrition across the Sahel region of Africa.
Helping, helps to vaccinate tens of millions of children against preventable causes.
That success has been documented in a recent report showing 14,000 more children survive every single day compared to 1990.
